Marty Long has been doing Ice Sculpture and Wood Carving for the past 10 years. Marty is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University.  He is a member of the National Ice Carving Association which hosts competitive ice carving events. Marty has won a Silver Medal at the 1998 World Ice Art Champions in Fairbanks, Alaska as well as several first place medals in the NICA United States competition circuit. In addition to his ice carving, Marty also does wood sculpting, ranging from a 37 foot wooden statue, "The Fall of Angels" to small sculptures.
